Founded by Malek Akkad, producer of the last five installments of the successful Halloween franchise, sCare is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating the hardships of poverty and homelessness facing today’s youth throughout Northern America.

This premier event treated guests with cocktails, light food, live entertainment, DJ CJ and dancing all the while enjoying a fabulous club in downtown. Celebrities, exclusive short films, giveaways and Michael Myers himself  in attendance. Host Jamie Hall presented Jamie Lee Curtis with the cause’s “Humanitarian Award” for her contributions. Entertainment nonprofit Conscience Entertainment and founder Steven Yamin helped produce the event.

The sCare Foundation has partnered with two national youth non-profit organizations to provide financial support as well as arrange special sCare activities for children, such as set visits to suspense films, movie screenings, video contests, celebrity meet-and-greets, and more. In addition to working with children in need, sCare’s aim is to involve more young people in philanthropy and, at the same time, develop their passions and skills to give back to their communities.
