Nate Boyer, NFL team members & Vets have hit their fundraising goal of $150,000 to raise a flag on Mt. Kilimanjaro. This March, veterans and NFL players will raise the #ConquerKili flag at the summit of the legendary summit as a symbol of their solidarity and teamwork. Founded by NFL defensive end Chris Long, Waterboys.org raises money through NFL players fundraising projects to provide clean water and build sustainable water wells for communities in East Africa.

Each season, Waterboys champion, Green Beret and former Seattle Seahawk Nate Boyer and the rest of the Waterboys team, challenge combat veterans and NFL alumni to take on a new mission. This year the feat is conquering Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro.

The goal of #ConqueringKili is to empower former NFL players and military combat veterans to continue their commitment to service and bettering communities.
