The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research honered Lisa Vanderpump at the foundations esteemed Women of Influence Los Angeles Awards Gala June 21st, at the historic Ebell Theater. This spectacular evening featured a lavish cocktail reception, seated dinner, extensive auction, and outstanding musical performances.

The event saw some of the music industry’s most illustrious and influential figures gather to honor six dynamic women whose personal and professional success inspires other women around the globe to live their dreams while balancing work, home, and health. The T. J. Martell Foundation honored Bozoma Saint John, Head of Global Consumer Marketing, Apple and iTunes. Bozoma started her groundbreaking work as Cultural Branding Marketer at Pepsi and her revolutionary approach to corporate sponsorship, marketing, and collaborations has put her at the top of her field. Lisa Vanderpump, Philanthropist/Businesswoman/TV Personality, known for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Vanderpump Rules,” is an author, prominent restaurateur, and successful businesswoman whose extensive philanthropic endeavors have garnered her international acclaim. Rebeca Leon, Senior VP of Latin Talent, AEG Live/Goldenvoice, has built her career crafting partnerships between Latin artists, sponsors, and venues which have changed the face of modern musical performance. Jennifer Sullivan, President, memBrain, LLC, is an award-winning brand visionary with experience in licensing, product development, integrated marketing programs, digital technologies, entertainment marketing, and national promotions. Honoree and Keynote Speaker, Dr. Kristi Funk, Breast Cancer Surgeon, Co-founder and Medical Director, Pink Lotus Breast Center, opened the Pink Lotus Breast Center in March 2009; this facility fuses state-of-the art screening, diagnosis and treatment with preventive strategies and holistic, compassionate care. The Foundation bestowed its inaugural “Rising Star” award to Adina Friedman, Artist Manager/Partner, Friends at Work for her instrumental work with Ty Stiklorious’s and her inspirational philanthropic activities.
