Last Chance for Animals (LCA) hosted its 34th annual fundraising gala October 20th 2018, honoring prominent individuals who have made a positive impact for animals around the world. Hosted at the Beverly Hilton hotel, The night featured a star studded cast of compassionate animal lovers & we’re so happy to add these leaders to our Celebrities Who Give “Philanthropic Influencers” List.
Celebrities Who Give Host Erin Mooney interviewed Mena Suvari, Priscilla Presley, Donna D’Errico, Bonnie Jill Laflin, Founder Chris DeRose, Donald Friese, Vito Maria, ElJay The Comedian, Khloe Terea, Frank Stallone, Mike Torchia, Sebastian Bails, Addrienne Janic, & Nicky Whelan.

LCA’s President & Founder Chris DeRose presented awards to the following honorees: Mena Suvari, actress and ardent animal supporter, received the “Celebrity Activist of the Year” award. Erika Brunson, world-class interior designer and animal advocate, was awarded the “Albert Schweitzer Award”. Brent Stirton, National Geographic award-winning wildlife photographer, received the “Sam Simon Award,” named after The Simpsons co-creator and LCA’s devoted supporter, the late Sam Simon.
