Political Analyst for FOX News & Sirius XM
Rick Ungar is the host of the popular daily podcast, “The Pod Complex” which picks up where Ungar left off from the long-running radio program “Steele & Ungar” on the Sirius XM POTUS channel. He additionally serves as the widely read senior contributor on politics and health care policy at Forbes.com and is a frequent political analyst on Fox News.
Ungar has also appeared as a long-time cast member on the Fox News Channel’s “Forbes on Fox” along with frequent guest appearances on other news and political television programs.
What makes Ungar’s choice of media outlets unusual is that he is generally identified as a progressive working within the very bastions of conservative media. Indeed, as the first op-ed page columnist in the history of Forbes Magazine to have a ‘left-of-center’ perspective, his column is titled “The Token Lefty.”
Says Ungar, “I would much rather argue the other side of the story where I can have some impact and make people think rather than constantly preach to the choir. It’s more interesting and, frankly, more fun.”

Rick served as the president of the Marvel Character Group where he enjoyed the role of being one of Spider-man’s ‘bosses’ while placing words in the mouths of some of the most beloved animated characters in the world. He has additionally put some of television’s most enduring shows on the air, including the long-running “Access Hollywood”.
